Grapes for our wines are sourced from our partner vineyard located in the North Western tip of Greenock Barossa Valley. Vineyard owner Angelo Defazio is obsessed with utilising integrated viticulture practices to help limit environmental impact. He regularly works with indigenous leaders who share ideas on introducing native floras and faunas to reduce pest infestation and soil improvement. It is not uncommon to walk between Angelo's vines and find you are knee deep in native grass, but he assures me that this helps soil moisture retention and relieve certain nasty pests from feeding on the precious vines.
